The school year is moving quickly and over the past few weeks we’ve noticed the need for a reminder about rules and duties during lunch time at PACE. Parents, please remind your children they are expected to observe the following:

•              Four students to a bench sitting on the bench with feet on ground

•              Eat the main/protein first, then snacks/sweets

•              Stay seated and throw trash away at the end (all at once)

•              Use restaurant voices and manners

•              Clean your own spot with one or two cleaner sprays on a paper towel square

Lunchtime parents, it is our job to:

•              Set up tables (if folded up)

•              Circulate among the students and remind about expectations (see above)

•              Prepare paper towel squares for students’ use

•              A final wipe down of the table after the children are done

•              Sweeps the floor after the last lunch period

Our teachers are there to:

•              Monitor and help with expectations and behaviors

•              Organize hot lunch buyers

•              Cover classes for other teachers with hot lunch buyers
