Recycle Your Used and Broken Electronics!  

Bring your used or broken electronics to Woodmoor on Saturday, January 20th, 10:00 - 3:00.  The PACE 5th Grade is holding a fundraiser/community service event in conjunction with 1 Green Planet.  Any cash donations will go to PACE 5th Grade for their graduation activities.  Any electronic donations will be recycled or refurbished and the proceeds from that will fund 1 Green Planet and benefit other charities such as Seattle Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  
 
Here's a list of just some of the items we'll take, or visit 1 Green Planet for a comprehensive list.  
  • Computers, etc: Computers, Laptops, computer parts and batteries, toner, faxes, wires
  • Appliances:  Washers, dryers, refrigerators, water heaters, etc.
  • Audio/Video:  Stereos, CD, DVD, VHS, cassette players, speakers, etc
  • Vehicles: Bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trucks, car-boat motorcycle batteries, etc.
  • Other Misc Items: Barbecues (no  propane tanks pls! ) Lawn mowers (pls empty gasoline and oil!) Fitness equipment, Medical equipment ,etc.
Please do not bring: televisions (flat screens ok), wood, glass, chemicals, hazardous waste, paint, tires, or alkaline batteries.
